Pringles Can Antenna...which issue?
Here's a dumn question, I hope someone can help me out.....A while back the magazine had an article on constructing a wi-fi using a pringles can and a few othe bits+pieces....I'm going through my old mags but can't find it!
Anyone happen to the Month? Or issue number? or What was on the cover? or Was it last year, or the year before? Thanks!

Would recommend

rather than a Pringles cantenna. It is pretty easy, and quite effective with the right can. Depending on the model of airport card, you need an MC-Card pigtail.
For the record, I used a bourbon can, perfect width, but a bit too long (which is better than too short). I was picking up signals from over 200-300m.

Probably should clear things up, I was talking about a promotional can that contained a 750ml bottle of spirits, rather than an actual can.
For the record, I don't even drink spirits... In the end, I simply spoke to my local bottle shop and they had a can lying around.
Worked great though.
