Acceleration: Peelout - Update
Well my team gave me their latest screen shot. Minus the background the model you see in the screen shot is 100% custom made by my team.
What you think?
BTW, I've requested the crew to create a screen shot of the car itself without the modeler information on the side.

If you're going to plagiarize this stuff, remove the URL of the image you're stealing, loser.
Dumbass. Major Dumbass.
Here's some clues, if you're really going to design a game:
1) physics engines are more complicated than graphics - so work on that first
2) modern GPUs still don't do ray tracing at playable framerates
3) if you use other people's work without their permission, you'll get sued.

Actually I've not taken it far at all, the manager under me gave me the link to show some of the work the 3D modeler has done for the game... so I figured i'd share.
You can believe someone who knows nothing about the game I'm working on, or you can believe me, which has the information.

Oh no? That's odd, it seems you know more about my company than I do... Terry Cotant is the VP of Digital Immersion Software, and as far as I know, he is working with us with the game. The project Manager gave me the information, and the link to show me the quality. So now tell me... do I have to talk to my project manager and ask him if he is lying to me?

I think it's not a screenshot of your game, unless perhaps one of your tracks is the NV booth at Siggraph 2002, that this is one of the Z3 images created for that event, and that it's even labeled as such.
BTW, I've requested the crew to create a screen shot of the car itself without the modeler information on the side.
I doubt they're going to alter their sales brochure, so to speak...

Well, somebody has some 'splainin' to do. That image is assuredly not something that will be in your game... and I think I heard Bill Gates is working with my team on the next OS for my gaming PC.
C'mon, CP. Show us something; your credibility seems in serious need of a shot in the arm.

I asked a question, all you needed to do was give a simple answer, not a sarcastic response,

It was simple... apparently it wasn't quite what you were looking for, but... well, you sure got here in a hurry to reply; that's something.
I'll try again... is this better?

If by 'much' you mean unqualified adulation, you're probably right. We'll judge the shipping product on its merits, tho, I'm sure.

Re: Acceleration: Peelout - Update
This is funny stuff! Cyberpawz, did you really kipe this screen and show it as your own or is this a screen of your game that presenter3d.com is proudly using to hype their product? If it is your game, why is your racing car trapped in front of the nVidia booth at E3? Can someone besides Cyberpawz supply me with an email address for Terry Cotant so I can check this out? If it is plagiarism I need to move this to the crypt.

What is with all the name calling in going on in Games? I still have ink dripping from my quill from the last episode of that. I think moderators are especially responsible for following The Rulez as we should be role models. Please note the first bullet point, this is important to the smooth running of the Games forum. I realize this might be a case of plagiarism and therefore illegal but you could have said that in much more professional terms instead of resorting to invectives.
For the record, so folks know what I'm asking for when I get on your case for name calling, I don't expect any apologies between the principals in episodes like this. Just a simple, "OK, I lost my head, I won't do it again" is fine. Nobody has to go groveling to a person they obviously don't like and kiss their ass.

I'm sorry - it was late, and for some reason this really irritated me. I'll watch it.

You don't perhaps have a 3d operating system in the works, do you, cp?

Did not! did too! You're this! you're that! Mod says: you're bad, Member says: I'm not. See? This is why we need PMs
It's a nice image and I'd like to see more, with a better render. In that one the car looks made of plastic.
Peace!

Are you guys still hiring 3d people?
I recently worked on some original characters that I'm trying to find a good application for.
Here's a sample of my 3d work:

A ha ha ha... I think it's pretty safe to assume at this point (as if you weren't already...) that CP is in fact not working on a game.

Re: Acceleration: Peelout - Update
Sorry it took me so long to provide this, but we did a fresh render of the same scene with all the sidebar info disabled. As you can see, this is truly an exciting-looking game with entirely original graphics and physics properites. The groups we have working on this game are pressing hard to push the limits of current available console hardware, and you'd be surprised what we can do on Nintindo's hardware.
I guarantee all you naysayers that this project is very very real. (Sorry the pic is so big, 190k, we wanted it to be high-res.)
And to registered_user, that is some really fancy work, especially the motion blur. Send me an email and maybe we can talk about using your characters to create some original content.
Ukimalefu, that's also incredible. You are very talented.
