Re: Apple Store Coming to Greater Kansas City Metro Area
while the plaza is a nice place to shop, its not where most of the people with "the money" are. Most people with the kind of money to afford a mac are out in the suburbs of 70th st and farther south. I think Town Center Plaza would be better, the BOSE store is there along with Galyans and AMC 20, its a really nice place, perfect for an apple store.
I was thinking about the same thing. The only place I could see an Apple store in Kansas City would be either the Plaza area or Town Center Plaza.

Hell,
Why don't they just put it in Indian Springs, and they can have their own MALL!
I concur with the Town Center locale as well. That is definitely where the big money is hanging out. Or at least all the Navigators, Aviators, and Eddie Bauer edition Expeditions are parked.

Re: Apple Store Coming to Greater Kansas City Metro Area
Cool! I was born and raised arround the Plaza area of KC! Then moved further south to Waldo, then just across the state line in Prairie Village. Have very warm feelings for ol' KC! Too bad though that the Plaza is not the mucky-muck place it once was. An Apple store would still be nice to have there though...

Good point. That does seem to be where all the money is moving (south and west).

Re: Apple Store Coming to Greater Kansas City Metro Area
i was the first non-apple, non-contractor/construction person in the apple store in des pair, misery (oops, i mean des peres, missouri). although, i was third in the grand opening line, but that didn't stop me from getting a tshirt (or two or three or uhh... four). but, i was surprised they put one in st. lousy before kansas smurfy (if you can tell, i don't like the midwest much considering i lived in southern cal for 7 years)
